Things a twice-exceptional person could do:

Find friends - maybe in places or activities that you would not normally look. For example: the Scout organisation, gym or exercise classes, on line meetings for your interests, community classes, volunteering, Young United Nations, Rotary Youth, Australian Conservation Foundation, Young Lions, Amnesty International Australia.

Be active - even when it feels too hard. Don't restrict yourself to the 'normal' sports, fencing? trampoline? parkour?

Sleep well - and enough.

Practise a positive psychology this "is a relatively new branch of psychology that shifts the focus from what is clinically wrong, to the promotion of wellbeing and the creation of a satisfying life filled with meaning, pleasure, engagement, positive relationships and accomplishment."

Eat well - it's ok to not like everything, but do try to try new things.

Use people who know what they are talking about and you trust, or research backed
web based resources to sustain good mental health.

Don't become addicted to the internet, seek to regulate your own use, and if you can't
do that ask a trusted adult for assistance.

Understand yourself as a gifted individual. Being gifted makes you feel things more
deeply and yet often causes a feeling of helpless to change things around you.
Work out what you can do: volunteering, donating, offering your skills and strengths to others.....
Like any other human you will not achieve, if you don't want to put in the effort. However, putting in effort must come from an internal locus of control; which is a trait you can develop. Renzulli's theory (below) acknowledges that task commitment is an essential component in the display of visible gifted behaviours. Grit, resilience, determination, focus all require practise and effort over time.

Three-Ring Conception of Giftedness
"Gifted behavior consists of behaviors that reflect an interaction
among three basic clusters of human traits—these clusters being above
average general and/or specific abilities, high levels of task commitment,
and high levels of creativity. Gifted and talented children are those
possessing or capable of developing this composite set of traits and
applying them to any potentially valuable area of human performance.
Children who manifest or are capable of developing an interaction
among the three clusters require a wide variety of educational
opportunities and services that are not ordinarily provided through
regular instructional programs."
